Somehow I’m not my poetic self today so I will just put it as it came to me.
First of all and most of all, I am All-inclusive and pro men and pro-women, pro all colors and cultures.
But today its Women’s Day.
I gave it a thought yesterday and what dawned on me is that if men would monthly bleed from their private parts, year after year, there would be no way on earth that society would be shaped in a manner that they had to go to work and perform as usual.
If men would have back pains at that time of the month or would be more open, sensitive and receptive they would be at home!
If they had to put a tampon shaped cotton in their private parts or cover them with a cotton cloth under their pants, I doubt they would leave home at all.
Why when a woman is emotional they get belittled with ‘that time of the month’ remarks?
If men would create baby’s in their bodies, a mere miracle that a female body is capable let’s acknowledge that in the first place. Society would not expect them to work their jobs from the start of pregnancy till just up to two or three weeks before labor. The word by itself says it already ‘going into labor’.
Nor would they be expected to join their jobs after a pathetic three months, leaving the baby god knows where…
It takes a female body at least nine months to become hormonal stable after birth, many women breastfeed, any idea how much strength and power is used for that? Nurturing another human being, in full development….At the same time having to do all the normal daily stuff a household brings and all this without proper sleep day in and day out and society expects women to work for money at the same time…wow….
I do not think about these things too often, for the unnatural insanity just dazzles me.
Women are told to dress properly, not to walk the streets or park late at night, they have to watch their drinks so they don’t get drugged….just so they do not get violated and raped. Why can our daughters, sisters, mother’s not walk the streets safely?!
I don’t need answers…maybe some of us should ask themselves some questions…
Women are not the same as men, but they are equal.
They don’t get treated equally, nor do they get paid equally for many jobs. Not in other, so-called undeveloped countries, just here in The Netherlands.
Worldwide women are suppressed and violated, they are one of the worst treated species walking this earth.
I do not know any woman who has not been sexually harassed or treated indecently at some point in her life, I think not even one!
Someone stated that the level of civilization of a country can be measured by the way they treat its women. It is in the Nature of women to give life, to birth, be it, children, be it other Creations…
All of us came forth from a woman, no exceptions.
To honor Women is to honor Life
To honor Life is to honor Love
To Love is to Live
